The team called 1st thing in the morning to let us know their eta. They arrived exactly when they said they would. ... They were incredibly professional and did an excellent job with cleaning the ducts. They sent text messages/pictures of the ducts before and after throughout the process. We recently moved to the house and the vents had not been cleaned in decades so they were well over due. Wow, what a difference. No more dust! They also did an extra sanitation of the ducts which made the house smell so clean. There were some vents to the dryer that were not up to code and they replaced those with another type (which were obviously better quality) It is more expensive than what you can get with the newspaper coupons from other companies, but you get what you pay for. The crew of 2 men arrived on time and were wearing KN 95 masks as I requested. Mr. Carlos Lazcano appeared to be the... leader who spoke excellent English. The other gentleman did not appear to understand English very well. They wore shoe coverings and were careful about the contents of my home.Both men were professional, courteous, and efficient in their work cleaning my clothes dryer and all the duct work from my furnace and air conditioning units. I live in a three-level townhouse. My dryer is on my third level and vents up through a long tube through my attic. They completed the work in 2 1/2 hours. They picked up all of their equipment leaving my home as it was prior to their service.Although I have had my dryer vent cleaned out before, this is the first time I have had my air ducts cleaned. I hired AirWiz on the advice of my contractor, Mike Piazza of Piazza Construction, who remodeled my bathrooms and in whom I have great trust regarding his recommendations. I have nothing of similar service to compare price to regarding the combination service of cleaning my dryer vent and all my air ducts so I did not comment on value as I did perform comparison shop after receiving Mr. Piazza's recommendation. Overall, excellent. Booking an appointment was straightforward. Staff were reliable, professional, communicated well,... and did not leave a mess. At the end of the cleaning, we were shown before/after pictures. The before pictures were gross/dusty, with some missing toddler toys, and you could barely see the vents. The after pictures were clean, and you could see the vents. Our vents seem more effective in distributing air, and it's nice knowing we're not breathing all that dust from the "before" pictures.read more

EDIT: Unfortunately, I need to change my review from 5 stars to 1, I'd give 0 if I could. Since the original... appointment where the techs removed my whole home dehumidifier without my permission, I now have mold in my walls on the first floor and water running down walls adjacent to the ducts. I called them in July to let them know about the issues and, the owner came out, looked around said it was my problem, was incredibly rude and disrespectful, and left.I called them again today, and got pretty much the same treatment. I am truly sad about having to change my review. With two units and many many vents they were here for over 4 hours but they did such a thorough job. They also cleaned the dryer vent, from the roof! I used Airwiz for dryer vent and duct cleaning . I wish I could give them ten more stars ,because 5 stars don’t do... justice .They did a phenomenal job. You know a business work ethics by how they treat their customers and their property . They were easy to reach on phone, gave me a date as soon as possible and assured me if something soon opens up they will let me know .A slot did open up a week earlier and they asked me if I wanted it .On the day of cleaning, Carlos let me know when he would be there exactly and they were very punctual. As soon as they came in they all wore shoe covers , which I really appreciate, and rolled out a tarp to walk on. Carlos explained to me how they will do the cleaning and they started on the job right away after explaining all the details. They were very respectful and did the job really well and even repaired the dryer foil duct with a better one for a very minimal fee. At the end they showed me the before and after pictures and boy! am I glad we got them cleaned out there was so much debris in there. After they cleaned up they left my house exactly the way things were before…. actually better than before because the ducts were cleaner and dryer duct was repaired. Our experience was better than we expected. They were able to work with us with a short notice of when we needed them... to come in. The customer service rep. was very polite and knowledgeable with regards to questions we had about some of the services we saw online. Once we scheduled a date for them to come in and clean our ducts in our home, they checked in with us the morning of to let us know what time they would be arriving and when they were leaving. They arrived right on time and from there they went straight to work. The two man team that arrived were very professional and efficient at what they did. They asked some questions to know what they were working with and explained everything that was to come and anything they came up they thought was worth mentioning. They arrived at 8:30 and were done around 10:30 or so. They wore shoe wore and took care to leave everything as it was before they arrived. Overall, the whole experience was better than we had anticipated and we were glad we chose to have them come in. Yes they are a little more expensive than other companies offering super low discounts but make sure to do your research.They were quick to respond to my initial inquiry and explained everything in detail, just like their website has listed (with videos). On the day of service they arrived on time and were very communicative the entire time. We had some mold in our main unit and we opted to get the extra treatment to clean it. The only thing I would we would have known is that the cleaning agent would have a smell to it that lasted about 24 hrs. We are both very sensitive to odors and while it wasnt a bad one, it was just strong and noticeable.I really do like that they show before and after photos of your ducts to show their work.A++ company and would recommend!read more

I recommend working with this company! They are not the cheapest but they are good. We had our ducts and chimney... cleaned. They arrived at 8:30/9 and left around noon. They did a great job. They showed me the before and the after with the camera they inserted in the intake. The previous owners had the ducts cleaned but I believe they smoked at one point while living here and had pets. I didn’t mind spending the money because they have a high rating and you don’t have to deal with any extra BS. They are transparent about their services and where the other said it would take just an hour, Air Wiz was here longer and did a great job.read more

This was the first time getting our ducts cleaned after recently moving in to our new place. AirWiz showed up on time... of our scheduled appointment and explained the entire process. It took approximately 1.5-2 hours to complete our single family house with 1 unit. After cleaning up their equipment they showed us before and after pictures and explained any recommendations they had for us. I have a narrow staircase that got a small ding in the drywall when they carried out their vacuum. They gave me a call apologizing and the next day someone came out and patched it up. Bought a townhouse recently. New to me, but the townhouse is several decades old. I wanted to get the air ducts and... dryer vent clean before moving in. I selected Airwiz based on recommendations from neighbors on NextDoor as well as my real estate agent. Read the reviews and saw how many people gave Airwiz a thumbs up. I asked for a quote and received it within a day. Scheduling was easy and they do have Saturday hours! It's been a couple hours since Alex and Luis left my house after cleaning the air ducts and dryer vent. They called ahead to let me know they were on the way and arrived at the expected time. Both were very respectful and were wearing masks and took off their shoes at my front door. Alex reviewed the air duct cleaning process with me. We noticed the last time the air ducts had been cleaned was 2004. Alex and Luis went through the access panel that was cut in 2004. They took the time to point out any issues like the registers being painted over and that the paint might crack. I watched as they cleaned a couple of the registers and how much care they took with each one. As I had suspected, there was some mold. Alex showed me what it looked like before and after cleaning. I did go with the sanitization option. A few hours later, Alex and Luis were finished. They cleaned up everything after themselves. Looking to have them come out to clean the air ducts and dryer vent at my parents'. Highly recommend Airwiz for being thorough, professional, informative and friendly.read more

On the day of service they arrived on time and were very communicative the entire time. We had some mold in our main unit and we opted to get the extra treatment to clean it. The only thing I would we would have known is that the cleaning agent would have a smell to it that lasted about 24 hrs. This is a home that hasn't had its duct work cleaned since 1994, so I was kinda expecting like a dead animal to be found in the piles and piles of dirt they pulled out of my vents.Just a word of advice to people getting this done. It is LOUD. Like, Boeing 757 taking off from your front yard loud. My son is extremely sensitive to noise, plus all of us are working or learning from home. In the future I would probably leave while they are here, leaving my husband who couldn't hear a dump truck going through a nitroglycerin plant, to take care of payment and such. This is not their fault just a word of advice.Also, they followed all COVID precautions with foot booties and masks the entire time.read more

Scheduling was easy and they do have Saturday hours!It's been a couple hours since Alex and Luis left my house after cleaning the air ducts and dryer vent. They called ahead to let me know they were on the way and arrived at the expected time. Both were very respectful and were wearing masks and took off their shoes at my front door.Alex reviewed the air duct cleaning process with me. We noticed the last time the air ducts had been cleaned was 2004. Alex and Luis went through the access panel that was cut in 2004. They took the time to point out any issues like the registers being painted over and that the paint might crack. I watched as they cleaned a couple of the registers and how much care they took with each one.As I had suspected, there was some mold. Alex showed me what it looked like before and after cleaning. I did go with the sanitization option. A few hours later, Alex and Luis were finished. They cleaned up everything after themselves.Looking to have them come out to clean the air ducts and dryer vent at my parents'. It's... been a while since we've had this done, and wanted to be sure we were breathing the cleanest air we could while inside for the winter. They called 20 minutes before arrival, and arrived at the beginning of the 90 minute window they promised. A camera showed us the inside of the vents, the furnace, etc. so we could see the job. 2. How often should I have my duct system cleaned?

3. Will cleaning out my duct system make a mess in my house?

The three most popular methods are vacuuming, scrubbing and air sweeping. Our method employs all three at the same time.
