Chimney sweep and  21 point fire safety inspection

           
 

The primary job of a chimney sweep is  to ensure the fire and carbon monoxide safety of your  home and also the preservation of the chimney construction so you can enjoy the warm comfort of a safe fireplace.

Chimney firer kills cause about 23.000 house fires  and kill and kill 130 people each year. Solution: firer place cleaning and inspection.

Carbon Monoxide Poisoning kills about 120 people and cause about 5000 injuries each year. Solution inspect furnace flue.

 

The Nation Fire Protection Association  Standard  (NFPA 211) states that fireplace and chimney should be inspected yearly for fire safety and any structural faults.

 

Description of work method

· First we cover  the floor near the fireplace, to avoid staining the carpet

· Them we turn on the Soot Collector Vacuum

· After that start brushing  the flue of the chimney from the bottom up until the brush gets to the top.

· Once the flue is totally clean we brush the smoke chamber.

· Them we vacuum the smoke shelf behind the damper

· We also brush the damper and fire box

· After all parts of the chimney and fireplace are brushed and vacuum we inspect the flue for safety and preservation

· Also inspect fire box, smoke shelf and damper

· On the outside we  examine the masonry  and chase cover (on prefabricated chimneys)

· Once we are finished inspecting and cleaning up we provide every customer with a 21 Point Fire Safety and Chimney Preservation report
